上海乐队学院于2014年9月正式开学，是中国国内首个结合学院培养与乐团学徒制教育方式、注重实践、专注培养职业乐队演奏人才的音乐教育机构。位于德国汉堡的北德广播易北爱乐乐团成立于1945年，为德国最具盛名的顶尖管弦乐团之一。该乐团自2016年开始与上海乐队学院进行合作。除了演出之外，在乐团首席们访沪期间，上海乐队学院的学生们和大师一起上课与排练，进行高强度的训练与音乐会演出。
Opening in September,2014,Shanghai Orchestra Academy is the first institution of musical education combining academic study and apprentice-style training in China. Focusing on practice and the cultivation of professional orchestral players, the academy offers the students various opportunities of music making with celebraties. The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra was founded in 1945 in Hambug. Since 2016, this prestigious German orchestra has collaborated with Shanghai Orchestra Academy. The principles of NDR will hold master classes,practice with students of the academy, and play together in this concert.
