非同寻常而又令人愉悦的即兴重复乐段、复节奏的打击乐层次，将带领你来回穿梭--从巴西贫民区到罗马东部，从拉各斯到布鲁塞尔。他们是罗马热力四射的实验/硬核朋克爵士（Jazzcore）圈里最令人耳目一新也最过瘾的乐队之一，成员包括：电贝斯手Fabiano Marcucci、鼓手Marco Di Gasbarro和萨克斯手Daniele Martini。

Three musicians from the closed in a garage for hours, creating extemporary compositions in the name of Afro-Latin music: this is AY!!
Crooked and grooving riffs, polyrhythmic percussion layers will drive you back and forth, from a Brazilian favela to the east-side of Rome, from Lagos to Brussels. The result is one of the freshest and most enjoyable proposals from the explosive experimental/jazzcore scene of Rome, namely: Fabiano Marcucci on electric bass, Marco Di Gasbarro on drums and Daniele Martini on saxophone.
Born in 2011 the band has released its first EP in 2012 and is currently working on a full-length release due for 2016. Being based in two different cities (Rome for Marco and Fabiano, Brussels for Daniele) the trio is nourished by its components' experiences in the different scenes and from a healthy touring routine around Europe, with concerts in Italy, France, Holland, Germany and UK at the Match & Fuse festival. Encouraged by the positive response from the media and the audience, while keeping a hard-working and cooperative approach, AY! has just begun its ascension to establish themselves as innovators in the genre.
Marco Di Gasbarro
Marco Di Gasbarro is a drummer and percussionist based in Rome.
He plays, writes and produces music with the avant-garde jazz-rock band "Squartet" with Manlio Maresca on guitars and Fabiano Marcucci on bass and with the avant-latin trio "Ay!", with Marcucci and saxophonist Daniele Martini. His style is rooted in rock and extends on territories across jazz, folk and contemporary music. He also performs a multipercussion solo set and he has collaborated with artists like: Steve Piccolo (Lounge Lizard), Francesco Poeti, Ava Mendoza, Carlo Conti, Lisa Mezzacappa, Amy Denio, Alessandro Riccardi, Joe Lally (Fugazi), Giampaolo Felici (Ardecore), Okapi, Fabio Recchia, Luca Venitucci.
Fabiano Marcucci
Born in Rome, Fabiano Marcucci has studied electric bass with various teachers and then classical double bass at the Santa Cecilia conservatorium in Rome with reknown Maestros such as Sciancalepore, Roccato, Massarelli.
His professional career starts in 1996, since then he has been playing with many musical projects across Europe.
Eclectic musician, composer, arranger, teacher, sideman Marcucci has worked with Italian pop musicians such as: Nada, Antonella Ruggiero, Ardecore; avantgarde bands like Squartet and Ay!; he has collaborated with the Parco Della Musica Contemporanea Ensemble; he has composed music for theater and silent movies; he plays in the classical music duo Marcucci/Tarducci where he rearranges symphonic, concerti and sonatas for guitar and double bass.
Daniele Martini
Born in Rome but based in Brussels since 2007, Daniele Martini is steadily making his way as an original and eclectic figure of jazz.
He can boast illustrious collaborations in the field of Jazz and experimental music such as Nate Wooley, Mark Sanders, Dominic Lash, Chris Corsano, Fred Lonberg-Holm, Jozef Dumoulin, among many others.
With his cutting-edge solo project he displays a deep research of extended techniques and interaction of the saxophone with electronics.
At a very different side of the musical spectrum he leads World Squad, one of the finest and grooviest afrobeat ensembles, which features Oghene Kologbo of Fela Kuti and Africa '70.
Merging groove and the experimental approach is AY!, a collaborative afro-latin punk combo created with Fabiano Marcucci and Marco Di Gasbarro of Italian Jazzcore cornerstone Squartet.
Other collaborative bands with whom he is involved are impro-rock behemoth Mulabanda and free improvisation quartet Tetterapadequ.
