被权威音乐杂志《Rolling Stone》评为2010最佳摇滚乐队的Free Energy，是来自美国费城的5人乐队，乐队成员喜欢以自由的方式表达自我，不受任何风格、流派限制，从而使自己的音乐自成一派。由著名录音师James Murphy操刀制作了第一首单曲即在纽约迅速崭露头角，2009年在Sonicbiz的乐队大赛胜出，并迅速走红。              

Free Energy, a five-man American rock band based out of Philadelphia, rose to national prominence in 2010 with the critically acclaimed release of their debut album produced by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem. Same year, Rolling Stone named them one of the best new bands. Breaking the rules, ignoring the limitations, they stick to expressing themselves in their own ways. Free Energy belongs to no genre.
