简介：
惠灵顿国际尤克里里琴乐团由12名表演者组成，其中11名表演者的演奏乐器是尤克里里琴，另外一名表演者的演奏乐器则是低音大提琴。惠灵顿国际尤克里里琴乐团成立于2005年，2008年红遍新西兰，成为新西兰最受喜爱的乐团之一，并至今一直保持着他们在音乐界的至尊地位。
The Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra is a group of 12 performers, composed entirely of ukeleles and one double bass. Formed in 2005, they rose to fame in New Zealand in 2008 and have maintained their iconic status since then as one of New Zealand’s best-loved performing groups.
惠灵顿国际尤克里里琴乐团以演奏80年代经典作品、摇滚名曲、民谣歌曲以及热门流行歌曲见长，演出风格和谐风趣，他们定期在新西兰举办巡回演出，献艺新西兰各大音乐节，并将巡演范围扩展到了澳大利亚。2013年8月，惠灵顿国际尤克里里琴乐团首次前往欧洲，在伦敦以及爱丁堡艺穗节激情表演。
Performing harmonious and hilarious renditions of 80s classics, rock hits, folk tunes and favourite pop songs, the Wellington International Ukelele Orchestra tours regularly around New Zealand, performing in all major festivals and has also toured Australia. In August 2013, the group made its first trip to Europe with performances in London and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
