UNC Jazz Lab Band I
北科罗拉多大学爵士大乐队1队是一支长期得到公认的全美顶尖大学生爵士乐队。在2005、2006、2011以及2013年，他们被美国音乐权威杂志《Down Beat》评作"全美最佳大学生爵士乐队"。这支乐队在2010在罗马尼亚的9个城市巡回演出，每一场音乐会都被要求返场。他们被邀请在2013年的爵士教育峰会上、科罗拉多音乐教育峰会中表演。北科大爵士大乐队1队还与格莱美获奖的Slide Hampton, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jeff Coffin, Patti Austin等爵士明星合作演出。此外，他们还曾和其他爵士巨星合作，包括Terrell Stafford,Greg Gisbert, Benny Green, Cyrus Chestnut, Brian Lynch, Robin Eubanks, Bille Pierce, Jamey Aebersold及其他。

UNC Jazz Studies Faculty Quartet

UNC Jazz Lab Band I
UNC Jazz Lab Band I has long been recognized as a top university jazz ensemble. They were named the Best College Big Band in the 2005, 2006, 2011, and 2013 DownBeat Student Music Awards. The big band toured Romania in 2010 visiting nine cities; playing an encore at every concert. They were invited to perform at the Jazz Education Network Conference in 2013, and have also performed several times at the International Associate of Jazz Education, the Colorado
Music Educators Conference, and UNC Jazz Lab Band I has also performed with Grammy Award-winning artists such as Slide Hampton, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Jeff Coffin, Patti Austin. They have also performed with other jazz legends, including Terrell Stafford, Greg Gisbert, Benny Green, Cyrus Chestnut, Brian Lynch, Robin Eubanks, Billy Pierce, Jamey Aebersold, and many more.
UNC Jazz Studies Faculty Quartet
Dana Landry, Steve Kovalcheck, Erik Applegate, and Jim White have been performing together for close to a decade, and serve as jazz professors at the University of Northern Colorado. In addition to working as a standalone quartet, the group has also played with Bob Sheppard, Clay Jenkins, Greg Gisbert, and Dick Oatts, among others, and is experienced in supporting vocalists, three-horn groups, and big bands. The quartet has appeared in several states and in Romania and France, and can be heard on recordings including Erik Applegate's "Red Skies", Dan Gailey's "What Did YouDream", Steve Owen's "Stand Up Eight", and "Back When It Was Fun" by the group 7 ON 7. Individually, Landry, Kovalcheck, Applegate, and White have extensive performing and recording experience, and remain very active with their own individual music projects.
