Now it is presenting the world with another excellent alternative band, The Cardigans. Their music is infused by a variety of music genres like Pop, Latin, Jazz and Rock. The instantly recognizable voice of the band’s lead singer Nina Persson, sweet and pure, gives all their beautiful tracks a lovely bittersweetness. The single Lovefool included in the soundtrack of the 1996 film Romeo + Juliet became the Cardigans' first hit worldwide, topped the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay chart, peaked at #2 on the UK Singles Chart, and earned the band a world class fame.
