知名赞誉度极高的布达佩斯交响乐团，（简称BPSO），匈牙利广播旗下于恩斯特创建于1943年。录制古典音乐唱片是该团极为重要的使命职责之一，其中歌剧、协奏曲以及电影音乐的唱片录制受到匈牙利本土以及国际上的好评和热爱。
布达佩斯交响乐团的演出曲目从巴洛克时期至当代音乐都有涉猎。 乐手多毕业于著名的李斯特音乐学院，精湛的专业技术使得他们沉浸于各时期音乐作品的演出和录制。作为广播旗下的一个专业乐团除了持有金牌的艺术质量，同时在室内乐和独奏艺术家领域也是非常出色的。

Bio Budapest Symphony Orchestra
The acclaimed orchestra internationally known as Budapest Symphony Orchestra (BPSO) was founded in 1943 as Symphony Orchestra of the Hungarian Radio on Ernst von Dohnányi’s initiative. Apart from its usual orchestral work, it makes CD recordings of classical music, accompaniments of opera and concerto productions as well as of demanding light and film music mainly for foreign but also for Hungarian customers.
The repertoire of the Budapest Symphony Orchestra ranges from the Baroque to contemporary music. Its members feel at home in all music styles as they have graduated from the world famous Liszt Academy of Music (now Liszt Ferenc University of Music). As a professional radio orchestra they appear regularly not only in symphony orchestra productions but also in chamber or even solo productions as well.
Through its frequent broadcasts and its recordings the BPSO has become widely known, and its tours have taken it to the countries of Eastern and Western Europe as well as to the United States of America and Canada. The orchestra has performed at major venues like Carnegie Hall New York, London Barbican or Vienna Konzerthaus. BPSO has appeared with the greatest conductors asOtto Klemperer, Carlo Zecchi, Leopold Stokowski, John Barbirolli, Claudio Abbado, Charles Münch, Georg Solti, Gennady Rozhdestvensky; Sir Charles Mackerasor Sir Neville Marriner. Chief conductors of the BPSO included Adam Fischer, Tamás Vásáry, János Ferencsik or Gregory Vajda.
Resulting from their experiences gathered on stage, they can meet in the course of studio work the highest demands regarding timbre and fidelity to style. Owing to their decade-long connections they make their recordings in excellently equipped studios with the best conductors, sound engineers and music producers. The recordings of the orchestra are published, inter alia, by Naxos, Gramy and Hungaroton.

Budapest Wagner Days, Palace of Arts
The Hungarian audience can hardly have expected with greater excitement Klemperer’s first appearance at the Opera House sixty years ago as it did ádám Fischer’s conducting Wagner at the Palace of Arts this time. Ever since Parsifal’s brilliant production last year we tend to believe that it is possible to stage an opera on world standard in Hungary. The Budapest Symphony Orchestra and ádám Fischer have the credit for it. Wien/Konzerthaus: HARY JANOS
Thus and in no other way should a production of Háry János be presented to interested audiences outside Hungary. As a matter of fact, the whole was but a large extended suite with narrators and soloists and naturally much choir. It worked out well under Adam Fischer. The stars of the night were Ulrike Beimpold and Florentin Groll as narrators of this tale and naturally the grandiose orchestra.
