上海大剧院与上海歌剧院第五度携手打造新年音乐会。继马库斯·史坦兹、劳伦斯·福斯特、丹尼尔·奥伦、弗朗兹·威尔瑟-莫斯特之后，音乐世家雅尔维家族的领军人物——尼姆•雅尔维将接棒指挥上海歌剧院交响乐团、合唱团，以及多位优秀歌唱家，于又一个丰年的岁末，为上海观众献上两场精彩绝伦的新年音乐会。
现年81岁的尼姆•雅尔维，其辉煌的艺术生涯始于爱沙尼亚。他不仅是爱沙尼亚的国宝级指挥，也是世界著名指挥大师。他年仅18岁就首次登台指挥，至今已见证并亲历了半个多世纪古典乐坛的风云变换。作为点石成金的灵魂人物，他被全球各大名团竞相邀请。他不仅擅长演绎经典并灌录了近500张唱片，也致力于小众古典音乐的当代再现。
12月30日歌剧经典选段音乐会颠覆了以往常规的新年曲目，遍历格里格、莫扎特、德利布、奥芬巴赫、普契尼、比才等一大波名家的冷门杰作，将由备受瞩目的爱沙尼亚新锐女高音艾琳娜·娜莎耶娃挑起大梁。12月31日贝多芬《第九交响曲》将遇上马勒的绚烂配器，又有尼姆•雅尔维的精湛诠释，这座“交响丰碑”将迸发出2019年的第一团艺术火花，消去旧岁的所有晦暗。当终曲乐章的壮丽词曲响起，让我们乘兴且长歌，高唱一曲欢乐颂。新的一年，踏歌而行！

The head of a musical dynasty, Neeme Järvi is one of today’s most esteemed maestros. He conducts the world’s most prominent orchestras and works alongside soloists of the highest calibre. A prolific recording artist, he has amassed a discography of nearly 500 recordings with renowned record labels such as Chandos, Deutsche Grammophon, BIS and EMI amongst others. In September 2018 he received the Lifetime Achievement Award of the magazine Gramophone.
Over his long and highly successful career he has held chief conductor positions across the world with orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, and Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, among others. He is currently Artistic Director of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra, Music Director Emeritus of both the Residentie Orchestra The Hague and Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He also holds the titles of Principal Conductor Emeritus of the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Laureate of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He spent three summers between 2013 and 2016 as Head of Conducting and Artistic Advisor of the Gstaad Conducting Academy
Recent and future seasons include engagements with the Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, NHK Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre National de France, Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Bergen Philharmonic, Berliner Philharmoniker, Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, and Wiener Symphoniker, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, as well as the major orchestras in the USA such as Chicago Symphony Orchestra, New York Philharmonic Orchestra, among others.
Highlights of his impressive discography include critically acclaimed complete symphony cycles of Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Richard Strauss, Mahler, Dvořak, Glazunov, Grieg, Sibelius, Nielsen and Brahms. Järvi has also championed less widely known composers such as Wilhelm Stenhammar, Hugo Alfvén and Niels Gade, Franz Berwald, Johann Svendsen and Johann Halvorsen of Norway and composers from his native Estonia, including Arvo Pärt, Rudolf Tobias, Artur Kapp and Eduard Tubin.
Recent releases on Chandos include Tchaikovsky’s complete ballets, symphonies and orchestral music by the Swiss composer Joachim Raff, as well as music by Massenet, Chabrier, Saint-Saëns, Suppé, Atterberg, Xaver and Scharwenka.
Neeme Järvi has been honoured with many international awards and accolades. From his native country these include an honorary doctorate from the Music and Theatre Academy and the Order of the National Coat of Arms from the President of the Republic of Estonia, Mr. Lennart Meri. The Mayor of Tallinn presented Maestro Järvi with the city’s first-ever ceremonial sash and coat of arms insignia, and he has been named one of the “Estonians of the Century”. Neeme Järvi holds an honorary doctorate of Humane Letters from Detroit’s Wayne State University and the University of Michigan, as well as honorary doctorates from the University of Aberdeen and the Royal Swedish Academy of Music. He has also received the Commander of the North Star Order from King Karl XVI Gustaf of Sweden.

Soprano:Elina Nechayeva
Elina Nechayeva was born in Tallinn, Estonia. She was already singing in a children’s choir at the age of four and started taking singing lessons at the age of 14. She studied in Tallinn University for her Bachelor’s degree in music from 2011 to 2014 and from 2014 to 2016 completed her Master’s degree at the Estonian Music and Theatre Academy. In 2015 the coloratura soprano made her debut at the Estonian National Opera as Giannetta in Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. From 2015 to 2017 Elina was playing in Estonian Drama Theatre as a guest artist. The singer also appears regularly as a soloist in concerts in Estonia and abroad with the best orchestras and conductors. Her repertoire includes works by Mozart, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Strauss, Faure, Tchaikovsky and many more.Elina has enjoyed success in a number of competitions in Estonia, winning first and second prizes. In 2017 Elina got to the finals of Neue Stimmen international music competition in Germany from 1500 participants. The same year Elina was hosting semi finals of Eesti Laul and in 2018 took part as a contestant and got the first place. Elina was representing Estonia at Eurovision Song Contest 2018 and got the 8th place.
