Three space travelers are playing with imaginative hybridization and artistic forms. The ensemble is born of a will to investigate the fields of contemporary and improvised music. Around Didier Petit's lunar cello, the singer and vocalist Claudio Solal and the percussionist Philippe Foch are giving birth to an oneiric universe, underlying a vocal jazz without borders, going from orchestral propositions to vocals improvisations, from the breath of a minimalist cello to nearly tribal and ecstatic percussions. Didier Petit is the only musician to have develop a partnership the French Spatial Agency (CNES). In 2015, he was realizing an extraordinary experience liaising music and weightlessness, bringing his "cosmocelle" (his customized cello) on the ZéroG supersonic plane. When he was a kid, Didier was thinking that Neil Amstrong, the first man walking on the moon in 1969 and Louis Amstrong, the immense trumpet player and ambassador of the scat were the same person. Hence, his obsession to leave Earth and come back from his trip, alive and different. Hence, the 11 songs he is presenting, as many planets to discover through a vocal and instrumental continuum.
