不管结婚时多么的真心诚意，一到离婚的时候，人们都会感慨于婚姻的荒唐……
本作品改编自老舍先生的同名长篇小说《离婚》，老舍先生自己相当偏爱的作品作之一。
《离婚》以老舍式的幽默及浓厚的京味儿语言，展现了一出市井人家含泪带笑的人生悲剧，透视出中国市民阶层在传统文化与新式文明碰撞间进退两难的尴尬与可悲。在那个年代，离婚一套新方式刚进入我们这个东方古国不久，被它的折光照亮一角的某些旧式家庭，一时不免躁动起来：正派的或不那么正派的，有文化的或没什么文化的，都在走马灯似的闹离婚……
北平财政所小职员老李等一伙人似乎也不能免俗，被卷入了“离婚”风潮，但是，在当时的畸型社会中，此类故事无论起初有多么悲壮，到后来也免不了要染上几分闹剧色彩，顾面子、妥协、懦弱、折中、息事宁人、自欺自足、敷衍凑合，这些市民阶层的庸常哲学阻碍了他们的理性抉择。结果大家闹了个够，谁也没有离成婚，最终草草收场。
“自这部小说起，我建立了自己的文字风格……在写《离婚》时，我决定抛弃陈腐的文言文，而尽量用接近生活的语言来表达……我希望用一般平民百姓的语言去创造一种新的美感……我在《离婚》中所用的语言是第一个，也可能是最好的，文字简洁清新的典范。”

离婚不仅限于男女间的纷争，从宽泛的意义上讲，在于人们内心的挣扎，传统与变革、真实与虚幻、理想与现实，在各种争斗中人不断被挤压和扭曲，故此“恍惚”成为了人们常有的一种精神状态。“我恍惚了！”便成为此次改编最重要的关键词。舞美设计、音乐设计、人物设计都将以此为核心，在恍惚挣扎中把含泪的笑呈现在舞台上，最大限度的保留原著的文学特质，将老舍式幽默发挥到淋漓尽致，强调戏剧的扮演感和游戏感，演员在不同人物之间转换以及与观众之间的直接交流使该戏从整体气质上更加自由和开放。此外，京味儿是该剧另一特质，从表演上追求原汁原味的京腔京韵，希望能够挽留那即将失去的味道。
编剧、主演：方旭
方旭生于北京，毕业于中央戏剧学院导演系，优秀的中生代实力派编导、演员，他曾在多部影视剧与舞台剧中饰演性格迥异的角色，给观众留下了深刻印象。
2010年，方旭创办“明戏坊戏剧工作室”，开始独立剧场创作，先后推出《庄谁是谁》《我这一辈子》《猫城记》等多部舞台剧作品。方旭集编剧、导演、演员于一身，尤以表演见长。他钟情于中国传统文化，又植根于民间，深深浸染在北京古都文化之中，擅长塑造市井街头的小人物，表演生动，惟妙惟肖。

总政话剧团演员。主要戏剧作品有：《海棠胡同》《我爱桃花》《背叛》《灵魂厨房》《歌代啸》《新青年》《桃花谣》等。2010年凭小品《家有毕业生》登上央视春晚舞台。曾获第七届CCTV全国小品大赛最佳男演员奖。
主演：孙一明
优秀青年演员，毕业于中央戏剧学院表演系。曾在《狂飙支队》《自古英雄出少年》《茶馆》等多部影视剧中扮演重要角色。主要舞台剧作品有：《庄谁是谁》《陪我看电视》《青春禁忌游戏》等。

The play Divorce is adapted from the full-length novel of the same name by Lao She, for which he had a special preference.
The novel, highly influenced by Lao She’s dark humor and authentic Beijing culture, is about the tragicomic life of a commonplace family. It depicts how Li, a civil servant, was involved in a trend in which everybody seemed eager to get a divorce. At that time, the concept of divorce was just introduced to China, which stirred up traditional families. However, in the perverted society of that time, no matter how solemn this kind of stories were in the beginning, they almost all ended up in farces. The importance those common townsmen attached to compromise, stability and their “reputation” prevented them from making the rational choice. In the end, no one was divorced at all.
Director’s Words
The concept of divorce does not solely apply to the relationship between a man and a woman. It is also analogical to the struggle people experience deep inside between tradition and reform, reality and illusion. In such a struggle, a man/woman is so twisted that trance becomes a constant state of mind. Therefore, “I am in such a trance!” becomes the key line of this theatre adaptation. Stage art design, background music, and character design will all revolve around this key line so as to emphasize not only the dark humor of Lao She but also the “game” nature of dramatic art. In this production, actors will switch between different roles as well as directly interact with the audience. Moreover, elements of the authentic Beijing style will be adopted in the production to revive the dying tradition of this ancient city.
Adaptation: FANG Xu
FANG Xu was born in Beijing, and graduated from the department of directing of the Central Academy of Drama. He is a playwright, a director as well as an actor, with his most prominent achievement in acting. He has played a wide variety of roles in multiple movies, television series and theatre productions, leaving a deep impression on the audience. In 2010, he set up Ming Theatre and started his career in independent production. Since then, he has produced a number of plays including This Life of Mine, Cat Land, Divorce and so on. Enthusiastic about traditional Chinese culture and at the same time, influenced by the folk culture of Beijing, he excels in playing common townsmen.
